Our starting point is a public business record. Our publication decision depends on what we can establish about the specific business and location—not how many fields the record contains.
1. Match the business and location
We compare the business name, official website, and address or service area. A chain-wide page does not automatically verify a branch. An old address, unclear relocation, parked domain, or unrelated booking destination must be resolved or clearly flagged.
2. Confirm services for cats
We look for the business’s own feline service description. Cat food, boarding, pet sitting, dog grooming, testimonials, and generic “pets welcome” language do not establish a cat-grooming menu. Credentials are attributed to the source; they are not a guarantee of suitability.
3. Add an original decision-useful note
Searchable profiles must retain an explicit feline service signal and enough attributed business facts to support a useful comparison. Individually reviewed profiles additionally carry an original source summary, a concrete distinction, and a business-specific booking question. We separate what the source says from what an owner should ask. We do not manufacture neighborhood expertise, final prices, availability, or firsthand experience.
4. Keep incomplete records out of recommendations
Records that lack enough evidence remain available for corrections but do not enter the main search index or XML sitemap and cannot receive ads. City pages with one qualifying local record show its actual information and clearly labeled nearby comparisons where available. State and service pages use evidence-qualified records only.
5. Compare the actual options
Local comparison tables show differences in published services and settings, alongside uncertainties to resolve. Counts describe this directory’s researched coverage, not the number of businesses operating in a city or state. Nearby links use straight-line estimates, not driving times or confirmed mobile service areas.
Sources, automation, and limitations
We use public business information and official pages, sometimes extracted with automated research tools. Editorial drafting may be AI-assisted. Crawling and scoring are not approval decisions: source attribution and substantive record depth remain necessary. Individually reviewed editorial notes are labeled separately from structured business-record information. We do not copy customer reviews or business marketing paragraphs. Ratings are historical third-party snapshots and are not marked up as our own reviews.
